HA!!!  It's not just me!  I almost feel vindicated... although I'm still in pain.

Let me explain.

A couple weeks ago after a routine trip to Walmart (convenient for things like dog food and "urgent" toilet paper, etc.), I mentioned to a couple people that the shopping cart shocked me quite a bit.  To the extent that I finally left it in a department and picked up my stuff.  I couldn't deal with it anymore.  Of course, I got the "you just grew 2 heads" looks/comments.  So the next time it happened (last week) I didn't say anything.

Today it happened again!  I asked the cashier if she'd hear of people complaining and she said yes.  So it's not just me!!  WOO!  She said the carts were knew and figured that played into it but didn't know much more than that.  So I feel vindicated -- both from the others and myself who was starting to beleive that I was doing something wrong.  But it still hurts when every 20 feet or so, the cart is giving you a shock.

and yes, I just called the District Manager's office and left a message... cuz it really does make shopping not fun and quite painful.  I dunno... maybe they want it to happen.  After all... first they suck your soul... now?  zapping your body too??

Haven't posted in a few days.  Nothing much going on of note, so that means that this will probably be a rambling mess of thoughts.  Read or don't read... you've been warned.

did NOT want to come to work today.  Gave myself til 10am to figure out this project and why I can't get it to work before I emailed the lead programmer in Milwaukee to find some help.  This sucks and I knew it would.  I'm just hoping to make ti through the day without breaking down.  I just don't know what the fuck I'm doing.... although it does seem like i"m missing 1 little piece, making it of course all that much more frustrating.

Had a rough night last night.  Trouble getting to sleep after I started thinking about today.  Then dog problems - thom handled it but I was awake anyway.  then fan problems.  Then hip/dream issues.  the alarm went off way to early.

The weekend was good.  spent most of Friday cleaning the house for the cookout on Saturday.  Ran some errands on Saturday (mostly because of stuff I forgot to get at the store).  Had a nice relaxing evening with some good friends.  The grilled rabbit was yummy.  the Mojitos were passable.  They were the first I'd ever made so I dont' think I did too hateful.  Used some of the lime mint from the garden too. :-)  Yesterday was slug day -- got up late, watched tv and read some, thom got me to play WoW for about an hour, had some cuddle time, and helped Chris pick up some boxes from the old Bledsoe basement.  Also got to see the latest on the new bledsoe house in person (LOVE the sunroom!!!  Feeling the need to steal it somehow).  That was about it.

Have a lot to do this week, both at work and at home.  Hopefully I can get some things accomplished... both at home and at work.

Love the fact that I'm going to get some good advice on my question.

Hate that I have to be on hold for so long (especially when I'm at work).  On hold so far for 48 minutes.  Their "hold music" is Clark's show... so reading/researching/coding while on hold is not only difficult due to the talking... but painful to hold the phone to my ear!

Oh well... it will be worth it, right?

I didn't leave the house all weekend save for a trip to walmart to pick up the beds and a trip to centerville to pick up the mattress.  It was one of those weekends that feels long... so that was nice.  I got a lot accomplished although not all of it was planned.  I can't even really remember what happened when.. it was a good weekend even if I got frustrated a couple times.

Chris ordered the kids new beds and they came in.  Their room is small and the bunk beds (twin over full) took up a LOT of room.  Chris thought it would work if she got them each a loft bed.  Granted... it's still tight in there, but the floor space under each bed is better and each kid now has a "space" of their own... or will once everything is assembled.  She also picked up "some assembly required" dressers for each.  Chris & I did dresser #1.... Tank popped in for a quick visit and he & I did dresser #2... and Heather helped me with Bed #1.... all this after Thom, Chris & I took apart the old beds.  Still need to find time to do bed #2.

Got some laundry done, but not nearly enough to make any kind of dent or visible progress in cleaning up our room.  Did bunny porn both days... 2 of the bucks just weren't doing what I consider "enough" and 1 still didn't on Sunday.  May need to give him another try tonight.  Cleaned the kennel, mowed the front and side yards, did some weeding in the garden.  Got the corn plants that were pushed over by the storm a few days ago back up standing and all weeded.  Harvested another 4 pounds of broccoli and 9 pounds of cucumbers.  Guess who's making pickles soon!  Need to finsh pulling in the last of the snow peas and get the plants out of there.  I think 1 of our sunflowers is ready to harvest for the seeds.  Still need to do a crapton of weeding as well as mow the back yard.  Oh and bathed both dogs -- they smell pretty good now!  Need to cut some mats out of Reilly's fur.

Watched a couple movies too -- Gran Torino for one.  So-so acting in some cases (especially Thao), but the story was a good one and Eastwood was his usual superb self.  Really enjoyed it.  Watched a couple others or just tv shows in the afternoons when it was too hot to do stuff outside.  Enjoyed some cuddle time with thom and chris too.... so yeah... a good weekend.

Short week this week due to the holiday.  Hot in the office today... should be getting better as they CLAIM the AC has kicked on.  We'll see.  Need to figure out what to work on this week as well as anything this coming long weekend.  Oh and with any luck (and as a reminder to myself) I want to call Clark Howard today during his show.  Trying to decide if it's better to 1) begin making larger than normal payments on my truck, while paying minimum on the upcoming home improvement bills and regular deposits into savings (aka downpayment)....2) make normal payment ont he truck, pay off home improvements ASAP with regular savings.... or 3) make normal payments on both truck and home improvements with anything and everything else going into savings for the downpayment.  Not sure given the current economy and such which will help us more.

grumble... my new table top fountain doesn't "splash".  It's very pretty as the light color changes but the water doesn't make a sound.  Why would someone want a fountain where you can't hear the water running??

Hmmmm... lots of folks died yesterday.

Ed McMahon -- was never really a fan.  Never watched The Tonight Show.  He was someone who was just there.  Doesn't mean I still don't empathize with his family.  Just as a celebrity, he was a blip on my radar and nothing more.

Farrah Fawcett -- More of a Kate Jackson or even Jaclyn Smith fan myself, but I did watch Charlie's Angels.  Farrah was also in one of my all-time favorite movies "Logan's Run" (the nurse in the place he got a new face).  So more than a blip but barely so as I was still a kid during her prime run.  She was a good lady from what I understood and fought a tough battle.

Michael Jackson -- Let's face it... I grew up on MTV when it was good.  I was there when Thriller debuted -- all 8+ minutes of it... and loved every second.  Wasn't a huge fan, but the man had talent and his music helped shape my generation.  Of course I believe he had serious issues.  Given the vastness of his success, it was probably a combination of being in the spotlight SO much (as a child star, etc.) and being a product of everyone around him using him for one thing or another.  Somewhere along the lines he snapped and I honestly think it was a decade or so ago.  But there's no denying that he made an impact on a lot of people.  I feel for his family and mourn the talent that he had.

that said... none of these passings can honestly be considered "breaking news" for more than 5 or 10 minutes.  I'm sorry... not even the King of Pop.  There is real news all around the globe even if you don't count the war in Iraq, the growing tensions with Iran and the downright threats of nuclear war with north Korea.  But all you hear about even this morning is Michael Jackson.  Our priorities are whacked.

Another passing to note -- Kenna died yesterday.  She hadn't been doing well and I was contemplating putting her down.

First, the important note -- BSG 4.5 is scheduled for DVD release on July 28!  Squee!!

Did anyone watch Merlin on Sunday?  A coworker has recommended it.  Might have to look at Hulu to catch the first episodes (I guess 2 were shown on Sunday).

Left work at lunchtime yesterday.  Quick trip to the bank to deposit the announcing and B-day checks then home for lunch.  Opted to take a nap after that to get rid of the headache.  Worked.  Didn't expect to sleep ALL afternoon (3.5 hours!) but it worked.

I really wasn't overly productive after that though.  Chris & I went to Home Depot and Lowe's.  Found some fly traps and looked at deck stain, wallpaper borders and curtains.  Beyond that I finished chapter 3 in my "Everything I want to do is illegal" book.  EXCELLENT book but the stories just make you mad and frustrated in that facepalm kind of way.  Oh the joys of the government.  I think we're going to try to start going to the area Weston Price meetings to kind of network and such.  Hopefully that will help.

Unfortunately, found the last kit from Cassie's litter dead this morning. :-(  It was an obvious runt so I had my doubts from the beginning.  Cassie will be rebred this weekend along with Darla and Rose.  Still trying to figure out who's being bred to whom.  I was thinking Darla and Chester.... Cassie and U -- both to try and get those broken blacks.  But do I breed Rose to Keegan to try and get some nice reds that could be show prospects.... or to U to get that interesting almost chocolate broken color like in her last litter?  And if I breed her to U, do I still use him for Cassie as well?  Decisions decisions.

Need to mow the lawn, weed the garden and do laundry at some point really soon.  Kennel also needs cleaned and I need to weigh all the kits.

The Dork News:
  • Has a bad headache.  It started last night after the movie.  I know what is causing it but it still sucks.  You'd think I'd remember this part of the withdrawal and simply avoid caffiene entirely ALL the time.  Nope... I'm a dork.
  • Lost 9 of 10 bunnies last night.  Why?  Mostly because I'm a dork.  Feel really bad about it too. :-(   Hoping that Z kindles soon so I can foster the last little guy and rebreed Cassie.  Yep.. I'm a dork.
  • Thom & I went to see UP last night.  LOVED it.  And yes, I cried twice I think.  Great movie.  Want to get one of those collars for Reilly... cuz I'm a dork.
Other News:
  • Have a mandatory meeting in a few minutes on "Workplace Respect".  Ugh.  Not looking forward to it at all.  Especially if I actually have to participate (note the bad headache).  I'm actually thinking about going home for the afternoon to get rid of the headache.
  • Hoping things went REALLY well this morning.
dunno if there's more... the brain isn't cooperating.

The weekend was ok.  Left home at 3 on Friday and got to the park about 5:30 due to traffic.  Had a good chat on the phone with Laura so the time went pretty quickly.  Took a quick trip around cross country on a golf cart to see where things were and that was about it.  Back to the hotel and picked up some food.  Whee... exciting.

Woke up at 5:30 am to a bad storm outside.  I found out later that I was lucky that I didn't park at the hotel where I initially thought about parking.  The storm blew down a sizeable branch in that spot...dumped it intot he bed of someone's truck.  Don't think there was any damage but the volvo wouldn't have had as much luck.

On time start - 9am and an early finish by 15 minutes meant I was done with work by 5 on Saturday.  Overall a good day.  Couple falls and some scary rides but overall some good riding.  Thought about jumping into the hotel pool as it was warm (but thankfully there was a good breeze all day) but the swim suit I brought was the wrong one and didn't fit.  Oh well.  Took a nap instead.  Woke up a bit later and went out and grabbed some food.

Sunday was a short day -- started cross country at 8 and finished at 10:30.  And still got paid for a full day.  Yay!!  Grabbed a sack lunch with the fence judges and chatted with a couple people before I left.  Stopped by the firehouse on the way home to say hi to Thom.  Home by 3.  let the vegging begin!! :-)  Didn't do much of anything the rest of hte evening (besides beating [info]autumnsfire 's Bejeweled Blitz score on Facebook -- lol).

tonight a contractor is stopping by to give an estimate on the gutters and soffits.  I may ask for an estimate on the back deck roof too.  I've been wanting to get it done since I moved into the house and have yet to DO it.  Our project list is long and I'm curious what it would cost just to pay someone to do it.  Need to start being able to scratch some things off that list!

Oh and I was wrong.  I have a couple hundred more than I posted left on my credit card account.  Oh well.  It's not much. Just a case of me using the wrong "balance" number and missing a couple items.  Still will have it paid off on my next paycheck. :-)

Little to no motivation today.  If it wasn't already 3, I'd probably take a mental health afternoon and go home.  But now?  What's the point.  Ready for a nap though.

I did get up this morning and went for a mile walk with the pup.  :-)

  • Home from KY -- actually got home way early but still paid for a full day.  YAY!
  • Caught Houdini the bunny -- YAY!!
  • Talked to parents -- they're off to Spain and the Med this week.  Lucky bastards.
  • Need to feed the dogs, check water for the rabbits and do "something" non-lazy.
  • It's really quiet here!  Strange... very very strange.
  • Happy anniversary [info]kookyduke .  Loves you!

First... thanks for the b-day wishes I got yesterday.  Mucho appreciated. :-)

Thankfully the day ended a LOT better than it began.  Took 1/2 day off work to deal with the kennel issue.  Ok, that and because I do didn't want to be here.  The rain never did show up but the roof is back to semi-working order.  Will definitely need to replace the tarp before winter, but it's working.  After that, watched some tv, napped and picked up a new book from teh library (more on that later).  Family went toLonghorn for dinner.  It was yummy and i have leftovers for today.  Always a good thing.  I do still want to do an all-call at Cena sometime soon.... whether or not it's for my b-day or just general just cuz... the food is too yummy and its been too long.  Watched a bit of Survivorman and read chapter 1 in the book before heading to bed.  Lots of cuddles and relaxing... just what was needed.

Today I'm in meeting hell.  10-11... 11:45 - 1:15.... 2-4.  Ugh!  Not like anything project related is going to get accomplished.  Off tomorrow and leaving after lunch for Kentucky.  announcing cross country at the MidSouth PC Horse Trials this weekend.  Never attended this event before so it should be fun.  And doing JUST XC announcing is easy!  Want to get there in plenty of time though to take a look at the courses before settling in to the hotel.  Makes it easier to announce when I know a general layout of the courses.

The new library book is "Everything I Want To Do Is Illegal" by Joseph Salatin.  He's the operator of Polyface farm which was featured in Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan.  So far it's good.  I do know, however, that it's going to irritate the crap out of me.  For example... in Chapter 1 he references an essay he wrote and was published in 2003.  He's talking about how... well... everything he wants to do is illegal on his farm.  ie:  where he lives he's zoned agriculture (he's in virginia).  No slaughterhouses are allowed in that zoning.  So he can't butcher his own livestock... not even a couple a year in the backyard!!  So he has to load them up and send them to a processor for someone else to do.  He gets back the meat all packaged and pretty.  However, he can no longer sell his farm-raised meat at his farm store.  Why?  Because it was processed off the farm!!  It's stories like that that are going to piss me off when I'm reading this book.  But it shoudl be a good read either way.

And for the assinine award of the day... it goes to PETA... who in my opinion should get the assinine award of the century in most cases, but this is just for today.  According to this news story -- http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,527001,00.html  -- PETA is chastizing the President for swatting a fly during an interview.  A fly.  A FUCKING FLY!  They sent him a humane trap so he could catch the fly and set it free outdoors.  O.M.F.G.  Talk about a bunch of nutjobs.  I get animal welfare, but this is getting ridiculous and it's this kind of crap that gets turned into lobbiests that are going to end up in shit like what I'm sure I'm going to read about in the afore mentioned book.

Been rough so far this morning.  First there was the whole getting up early to get donuts thing.  Then as I was letting the dogs out, I noticed what last night's rain did to my rabbit kennel... the roof support bar is irrepairably bent and thus the roof kind of collapsed.  I poked a hole in the roof tarp (no other choice) and drained out about half a muck tub full of water before I could push the rest over the side wall.  Anyone not doing anything this afternoon want to help rebuild it before the forecasted storms get here?  Had to change my pants because at this point they were dirty.

Of course in moving round with a collapsed roof, I banged my forehead (just over my left eye) on one of the metal feeders (yes there's a small cut).  Then went all the way to Dunkin Donuts only to find a small sign saying they were temporarily closed.  Ugh.  I also forgot my id badge to get into the office but luckily I dont' need it this morning -- the AC isn't working so the doors are all open!

Kind of glad I didn't get up extra early for the shuttle launch (considering it didn't happen).

The day will get better, right?

I guess.  #4 was the one I was most looking forward to though so I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Mowed the lawn last night.  It was DESPERATELY needed and given how high the weeds were, I'm sure many of them just laid down and were missed by the blades of grassy death.... so they'll be standing tall and pissing me off when I get home.

Side note -- there are huge chunks of cottonwood blowing outside... looks like a snow storm.

Then worked on the garden.  Had purchased some new plants so I knew I needed to work on getting htem planted.  Cleaned out 2 of the beds except for some errant carrots and the peppers and planted the 4 butternut squash I bought.  Attempted to transplant a couple sunflowers to the front yard.  Harvested probably another 2 pounds of snow peas!  Planted the IEA flowers (finally)... watered them too, hopefully that will help.  Planted the next holly bush.  Still need to find a spot for the Russian Sage I bought yesterday.  I love Russian sage!  Need to get in and harvest broccoli and pull out all the old lettuce to give the cabbage plants room.  Also need to clean up the stuff I pulled out yesterday -- it's just kind of laying there.

After taking care of the rabbits (Kenna is still swollen, but doing MUCH better -- she's even started eating a small amount), I moved in and started cutting wire.  Got the floor and wall cut out and ready to attach to the cage so hopefully I can move the youngsters this week!

After that, I kind of fell asleep on the couch while Thom was playing WOW.  I guess that's why "chore #4" didn't get done. :-(

Got on the Wii this morning to do my weigh in.  I didn't think the weekend went all that bad and I know yesterday wasn't the greatest (damn doritos)... but yeah... weight is back up again.  This does NOT make me happy.  Kind of very depressed actually.  One of these days I might get this right.

Overall I'd say it was a good weekend, but it had its share of ups and downs.

Friday... did a few things to get ready for Saturday's outting but definitely not enough.  Oh well.  Realized that Kenna probably isn't eating due to mastitis... so I worked on releaving some of the pressure for her.  Kinda gross so I won't go into detail.  At least it doesn't smell bad.  After that Chris & I sat down and watched Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.  Cried at the end when the Wings lost 2-1 to Pittsburg.  Can't believe Nick missed that shot in the last 5 seconds.  Of course there were a number of other shots that were missed by some fluke as well.  That's why I hate Game 7s.  One unfortunate bounce makes the difference.  *sigh*  Cried a little again when The Cup was raised.  Still think the media hype of Crosby is way over the top.  Adn what's this that I'm hearing now about how he couldn't even be bothered to do the ceremonial shaking of hands with the Wings after the game?  Nice class there Sidney.

Saturday was a flurry of activity as we desperately tried to get out to the park as early as possible.  Didn't really make it "early" that's for sure.  Oh well... after packing the trailer, getting ready, making salad and hitting Target... I finally arrived.  It was a lovely ceremony.  Major congrats to Danny and Jen.

Ah... playing, talking, sitting and drinking around a fire (once it cooled off enough to HAVE a fire).  WAs a great evening.  Only potential spoiler was Joe.  You have no idea how much I wanted to whack him with Chris's walking stick.  Finally got to bed about 4.

Up at about 8:30 so we could pack out before 10.  Got hit only the last 20 minutes by the rain, but yeah... soaked (my 2nd such soaking in the last week -- go me!).  Got everything home, unpacked what we could, napped a bit when Thom went over to the new Bledsoe home... then played with bunnies (Kenna's mastitis and a bit of D's abcess).  Watched the last part of The Lost Room -- good mini series, good premise... bit of a speeding bus ending and completely nonsense romantic ties, but enjoyable overall.

Back at work with plenty to do.  Need to run to Lowe's here in a bit to get more cage wire (I hope they have it!!) as I **REALLY ** need to finish the last of the cages so I can get rabbits weaned!

So the last couple days I've been dealing with an escapee.  One of Rose's kits - a chestnut that's 4 weeks old.  Frankly I'm impressed that he made it as he was one of the very small kits from Piper that I swapped to Rose when I didn't think she had any milk.  Not only has he been escaping from the cage, but the bugger kept going outside the kennel... even into the neighbor's yard (enjoyed their fountain I think).  Caught the bugger the other evening... but he was gone again yesterday mroning when I was dealing with the water situation.  After messing with the tarps again last night, I went to check on them about 10pm.  They looked good so I was messing with a couple of the bucks when I caught movement... the escapee was back... hopped right by me to go under the bottom cage row -- where he should be.  I closed the door and knelt down on the shavings to see where he was.... and this was the cutest thing ever.  Picture a 4 week old reddish bunny, under a cage row where his mom is... standing on his hind feet and at one point jumping up on the wall as if to scale it.  You coudl almost hear him say "HEY!!  I'm back.  How do I get back up there?!"

Finally caught the bugger and put him back (and blocked more of the holes that are potential escape routes) and he IMMEDIATELY went after mom to try and nurse.  She didn't want anything to do with him (I guess the buffet was closed for the night) but it was adorable.

Thankfully the little bugger was still where he should be this morning.

This is your warning... this is a vent, a rant, a bitchfest and a major whiney-ass post.  I've had a shitty morning thusfar and need to vent.  If you don't want to read, don't read.  But don't say I didn't warn you.

Had an ok night last night.  Sold the last 8 week old broken kit, good dinner, watched 2 parts of The Lost Room from Scifi and had some QT with Thom before he left to go raid at Brandon's.  This morning however... BLECH!!

Woke up when my alarm went off at 7.  Still sore as hell from riding the other day (on top of a still twingy hip).  Threw on a t-shirt and a sarong.  Figured I'd do some yoga stretching before I jumped in the shower.  I was half aware of the storm that went through but didn't think anything of it til I went to let Reilly out and glanced at the rabbit kennel.  FUCK!!!  Major pooling of water on teh tarp.  It was warm so the tarp wasn't tied down to the kennel but staked out to allow more airflow (rabbits don't do well in the heat).  So the roof was loose and had collected a LOT of water.  Put it this way... I couldn't do my normal push up and let the water run over the edge.... the holes at the top were quite a bit bigger after straining against all the weight... I tried to push it up and succeeded in breaking a hole in the tarp where it was laying on the corner of Chester's cage (that's how I got the water out).  It took me 30 minutes to deal with this and then tie it all back down where it should have been. It's better, but still loose because the weight of the water has bowed the roof beam AND bent in one of the top bars on the front side.  Oh joy!  Not only that but that little fucker chestnut with Rose has gotten out again.  Bastard ran by me twice but I was busy dealing with the water issues.  I have no idea where he lit off to but I did check the neighbor's yard (yep... dressed in a t-shirt, tied up sarong and black & white wellies).

Back inside (without finding the little fucker) to get ready for work.  It's already 7:40.  Shower was ok, but then came the lovely job of getting dressed.  Oh joy... my daily reinforcement that I've gained weight and nothing really fits.  I don't want it to fit at this weight though... that's the problem!  Grabbed a long sleeve T ... which of course I'm going to spend the entire day tugging on as it's a bit snug.  Hey... at least with spending so much time with the water issues in teh kennel I didn't have time to completely depress myself and get on the fucking scale.

Got to work ok after that... still grumpy and adding another minor annoyance of stuff in my car and people bitching about things they don't understand (or worse... do understand and bitch anyway just because they can).  But then... oh this is good.  All week I've been wearing a jacket and borderline turning on my heater because it's been chilly in the office.  Remember that long sleeve T I have on?  Yeah... guess who wants a FAN on at their desk today?  UGH!!  I swear I wanted to call in "I Quit" this morning (on the morning... not on my job).  Just want to go back home... go back to bed... at least start over if not skip the day entirely.

In a fair amount of pain and soreness from the weekend.  Enough that except for 11, I saw every hour on the clock last night... at LEAST once. :-(  Work today is NOT going to be fun.

The game was a good one though.  Lots of good stuff.  Some frustrations at situations and people... but overall very good.  Congrats to the PPC... ya'll done good. :-)  Favorite moments?  I'm sure I'll miss some but here's a start:
  • Barbarian Clown Car (sorry Jess).  Just too funny to fit all tribe -- Garon, Kefka, Bodek, Ilana, Tobin, Chikta, Tuk, Tonkala, Feanor and Devion into one minivan... then go driving down the road waving at the folks driving by us.
  • Watching Chikta in the final battle with Agandor and the zombie horde.  Thom was in a LOT of pain and had ungarbed and was walking with a cane.  But when you watched it the 15 second rule went into effect and he became a haggared ranger who couldn't fight but wouldn't leave his people to go to battle without him.  He kept healing anyone he could til he was out of magic and then began directing (telling Ilana to keep pumping magics into Makaia so he could keep blasting at the undead, for example)... at one point helling "BARBARIANS" and suddenly all Tribe was regrouped around him... then back into the fight.  Reminded me a lot of Mel Gibson's character in "We Were Soldiers".
  • Meeting of the Gods.  O.M.G.  Props to Bodek for putting to words what at least Tonkala was feeling was wrong with the situation.  Glad it was in time to stop Damaris as Oshun from finishing the final step.  Up to that point though, everyone did an outstanding job.  Stephen was the. perfect. Yael.  LOVED the look on Dave's face when he simply told the zombie to kill the innocent (did I detect a plan F?).  And poor Timothy.  Dude... you looked like you thought you were having a bad shroom trip!!
  • Sahar's aftermath.  O.M.G. part 2!!!  I wish I could have stuck with a more Tonkala-ish response (getting angry), but *I* couldn't.  I hope that didn't dimish what you were doing.  It was fucking fantastic how you set it up and all I could do was cry right along with you.
  • Amulets of Nice.  It was HARD!  I tried to keep smiling, but my jaw started aching after a while and then I slipped.  Sorry guys.  But it was fun. Thanks for letting me play with it for a while.
  • "Devion... she has your pie!!" and then hearing the reason why what we thought he'd do (point and click boom) he didn't do because he was worried about burning the pie crust.  LOL!!
  • Yay for fun dungeons with plenty of things to keep everyone busy.  I even got to participate in a puzzle!  Heh... Literacy is overrated. :-)
  • The yellow thread.  Good time was had by all.  Well... maybe except the archer who got caught in Devion's point & click hell more times than he woudl have liked.
  • Having NO idea what was going on and being 1 of 2 tanks encountering the earth elementals.  In hindsight I should have tried another tactic when I went to grab for the stone... Oh well.  Coming up with a plan... even if it wasn't implemented.
  • Bunnies!!  Of course both the live ones that kept getting attention through the day and the cooked ones in the Barbarian Stew Saturday night. :-)
  • "There's a large man dressed in black who wouldn't let me leave."  HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!  We all got a good laugh over that situation... even the cop.
I'm sure there are others.  My brain doesn't work well in trying to remember them all.
