Random Thoughts on puppy balls and other stuff
got up early this morning and took Reilly to the vet. Not our usual vet but this is one that participates in the Human Society's "Spay/Neuter Certificate" program. Yep, Reilly becomes less of a boy today. I should be able to pick him up about 3. I'm sure he's going to be sleepy -- and sore. But let's face it... he certainly doesn't need those!

Had a decent day yesterday although it was mostly comprised of FFF. After our morning, we headed down to Hamilton to visit both Thom and Chris's parents. Enjoyed myself for the most part (although left with a smoke induced headache).

Only got to watch the first 45 minutes or so of the Survivor finale. Chris & I plan to watch it tonight. I've been really good about avoiding finding out who won. Been a fun season... lots of good thinking and playing and some fantastic blindsided votes -- voted out the holder of the hidden immunity idol not once but TWICE, used the hidden idol to blindside someone and then convinced someone to give up immunity? it's been nuts! Does make me think about applying again.

Thankfully the weather is decent today. I've almost decided to just get into the old garden and start digging with a shovel. Do one section at a time. It needs to be done... broccoli and cabbage are more cool weather plants and they HAVE to get in the ground! May start tonight.

Got an email back regarding an online complaint I filed. I may be able to take some action if I want to push things. I dunno... "damage" has already been done and honestly, I think it hurt the author's credibility and image more than it hurt mine... so I may let it all sit.

I think there's a lot of garden work in the plans for this week. That and getting a "to do" list made up for the handfasting. Some days I think there's not much left, other's it feels like a lot. Time to make a list and really see which it is. Of course I'll be riding tomorrow night. Not sure yet who. Jen sent me an email that she's not going to the Ky event in June. I think she's planning on going to the local show (which is in Sidney) that day with some of her students. She's right... darby needs mileage and if she can get that at a cheaper show (and make training fees) all the better. I need to talk to Anita I guess to see which she'd rather Thumper attended... the local show where both Ella and I could ride him (and cheaper) or the ky event that is a bit more expensive and would just be me. If the latter, it looks like I'll probably end up going by myself. No biggie though on that. Anita's paying the bills though so I need to find out what she'd prefer to do.
